Product Features

The JRC JMA-2300 series offers two models: the JMA-2353 with a 4KW ray dome, and the JMA-2354 with a 3.9 6KW open array configuration. Both models adopt digital signal processing technology, integrating excellent target identification and detection performance into a concise and compact design.

The 10-inch CRT display features soft-key design, making menu selection fast and simple. The high-quality display provides outstanding target clarity and recognition. Additionally, the optional MARPA ship tracking function allows you to track other vessels while displaying their heading and speed.

Connect to Positioning System (GPS)

The JRC JMA-2300 series can connect to devices such as a positioning system (GPS), displaying the vessel's exact position (digital value) or waypoint markers on the touch screen. This clearly shows the difference between waypoint bearing and the vessel's heading.

Easily Access Electronic Bearing Lines (EBL) and Variable Range Markers (VRM)

Electronic Bearing Lines (EBL) and Variable Range Markers (VRM) are commonly used functions. JRC has integrated these functions into the JMA-2300 product line, with dedicated switches installed.

Soft Keys

To simplify operations, JRC has installed 4 soft-key switches below the display for the most commonly used functions. You can easily complete all routine tasks via the soft keys, for example, navigating your vessel to the next waypoint.

Trackball

The trackball is a versatile additional control for JRC marine radar systems. With it, you can move the cursor, rotate the Electronic Bearing Lines (EBL), adjust the size of the Variable Range Markers (VRM), and instantly select items from the menu. Simply pressing the trackball will move the cursor in the direction pressed. Using the left/right arrow keys allows you to rotate the EBL clockwise and counterclockwise, while the up/down arrow keys can make the VRM larger or smaller. You can keep operations simple by using a single trackball, or utilize the soft keys as well.

Languages

The JMA-2300 radar series allows dynamic switching between English, Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, German, and Korean without restarting the device.

Display Search and Rescue Radar Transponder (SART)

The installation of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) shall include one or more Search and Rescue Radar Transponders (SART) to locate survival craft or distressed vessels. The JRC JMA-2300 series can receive SART signals to immediately respond to search and rescue operations.
